NMT Gas Regulator Installation:
Norgas Meter Technologies is proud to offer the most reliable and easy-to-use natural gas regulators on the market. Our NMT gas regulators are designed for use with natural gas appliances in both residential and commercial applications.
To ensure safe and proper installation of your NMT gas regulator, please follow these steps:
1. Locate the desired installation location for your NMT gas regulator. Make sure that the location is free of any flammable materials and away from any sources of ignition.
2. Connect the input side of the regulator to the incoming natural gas line using an approved flexible connector.
3. Connect the output side of the regulator to the appliance using an approved flexible connector. Make sure that all connections are tight and free of leaks.
4.Open the adjusting screw on the top of the regulator until you hear a tiny hissing sound. This indicates that gas is flowing through the regulator. Slowly turn the adjusting screw clockwise until the hissing sound stops. This sets the correct outlet pressure for your appliance.
5. Closely monitor all connections for leaks after installation is complete. If you detect a leak, shut off the incoming natural gas supply immediately and do not attempt to repair the leak yourself. Call a qualified technician to repair any leaks before restarting your NMT gas regulator
