UV weathering tester machine can simulate the damage caused by sunlight, rain and dew on the material, UV use Perspex ultraviolet (UV) lamps to simulate the effect of sunlight exposure, the use of cold proposed moisture rain and dew. The tested material is placed in a cyclic program of alternating light and moisture at a certain temperature for testing. UV uses a few days or weeks of testing to reproduce the hazards that occur outdoors for months to years. Types of hazards include: fading, discoloration, loss of light, chalking, cracking, cloudiness, blistering, embrittlement, strength loss and oxidation.
