As per the declaration of the Forest Minister Rajiv Bhartari Tiger safari is almost about to start from this month end in Pakhro. All things are prepared from now. It’s big opportunity for Uttrakhand tourists when they will be seeing tiger very closely.

First Tiger Reserve in India

Jim Corbett National Park is not only first National Park of India but also first Tiger Reserve. Local and International tourists do come over here to have a glimpse of tiger. Though, tiger is rare found in deep jungle. Earlier, there was only opportunity to have safari in Corbett National Park and this time people will have exceptional experience.

Pakhro Range

Basically, Corbett National Park is very vast and wide from Nanital Janpad to Ramnagar and it has limits from Ramnagar to Garhwal (Pauri District). So Pakhro range is the last limit of Corbett Park. You can find tiger in very large number in kaut gate zone in Janpad Pauri in Pakhro. This is the reason why Forest Minister has decided on starting tiger safari in this area.

Forest Minster said “This safari will increase more popularity to Uttrakhand Tourism. For the best suitability for tourists, the whole area has been developed in advanced way”.
