As of last month, Elyon: Ascent Infinite Realm, also known as Elyon, has made its way to the west, following its initial release in Korea in December last year. Registration for the upcoming closed beta test has been opened by Kakao Games and Krafton, which has updated the game's English website.

According to the announcement post, Kakao Games is "extremely excited" to bring Elyon to Europe and North America.“We are currently preparing for the first Closed Beta Test (CBT1), which will provide you with the opportunity to get your hands on the game for the first time. This will take place within the next few months, and we will announce the exact dates as soon as possible.”

“Even though the CBT will be limited in scope and the build we'll be using will be far from the final launch build, we'll be organizing some events and battles to give you a broad overview of what the game has to offer,” the developers explained further.

In order to put the servers and backend processes through their paces, the second closed beta test will be significantly larger in scope.  After all testing is completed and we are satisfied with the results, we will move forward with the grand opening buy elyon gold so that we can begin our journey together in full,” the publisher promised.

In a recent announcement, Kakao Games and Bluehole Studio announced a schedule for the first closed beta test for the western port of Elyon, formerly known as Ascent: Infinite Realm, and opened registrations for participants.

“Elyon is a fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in a world where two sovereign realms, Vulpin and Ontari, are at war for control of the 'Elyon,' a portal that leads to paradise.”To achieve victory for their Realm, players will be able to customize their skills and equipment, as well as engage in large-scale Real-to-Realm battles.

The official website will be open until April 25th, and players from North America, Europe, and Oceania can apply for a spot in the forthcoming test. Beginning on May 6 and continuing until May 10, testing will take place at various locations.

Those who are chosen will also receive an extra CBT1 key, which they can share with another participant of their choosing. Applications that were not selected for the initial round of testing may still be eligible to receive keys through a variety of promotions and events that the team will be holding in the weeks before the test.

As a result, you will be able to share screenshots and stream the game as much as you want during the test period. Developers have cautioned players that the CBT1 build will be devoid of some features and content that are already available in the Korean version of the game, which will be released later this year. It is also anticipated that the cash shop will be absent from the initial CBT build, though players will be able to purchase certain cheap elyon gold premium items directly from an NPC for 1 gold to give the development team a chance to test the waters before monetizing the game.

In order to launch Elyon on a version that is as close to the Korean version as possible, the speed at which localization can be completed is critical.“While we will be a little behind in terms of content at the start of the service, it is our goal to catch up and close the gap between the Korean and the western cultures as soon as possible,” Bluehole explained in a press conference.
