This is a comprehensive list of the changes and improvements that have been made to Diablo 2 Resurrected as a result of the most recent patch, which is currently version 2.3. Along with the PC version of Diablo 2 Resurrected, it is also available for multiple console versions, including the Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Switch, in addition to the PC version. The patches are largely the same across all platforms, and they all include new gameplay features as well as bug fixes and other enhancements to the overall game experience.

Everything that has changed in Diablo 2 Resurrected since the game's initial release in Update 2.3 is detailed below.

Game Difficulty Scale has been added to the options menu for offline games, and it performs the same function as the previous /players debug command.

THE ACCESSIBILITY AND THE GRAPHICAL QUALITY HAVE BEEN IMPROVED.

ENGAGING IN THE GAME

An additional visual indicator has been added to indicate when a character's attack misses an opponent in PvP (please refer to the options menu to enable Miss Text functionality).

As a result of this, the pathing for player summons has been improved significantly.
Mercenaries, summons, and pets will now warp to the player's location if they are too far away from the player's character. This is to prevent them from becoming isolated.

The use of the directional input from the joystick will no longer result in the skipping of a cutscene on the Nintendo Switch system.

DISCRETE AND DISCRETE DISCRETION

In the event that the game was unable to retrieve online characters from the server, proper error messaging has been added to prevent this from happening again.

The character selector will no longer jump to the top of the list when a character is deleted; instead, the character selector will progress to the next sequential character in the list after the character is deleted.

DEMONS & ENEMIES | BUG FIXES | DEMONS & ENEMIES | BUG FIXES

Unknown bug in Act 5 has been fixed, in which Madawc the Guardian reappears in a T-pose separate from the statue after exiting the map and returning has been fixed.

Catapult projectiles were not displaying correctly due to a bug that has been fixed in this update, which was previously reported.

We were able to resolve an issue where the VFX for the NPCs Talic, Korlic, Diablo 2 resurrected items and Madawc were not always being played correctly. We also resolved a problem where the Overseer's bones were visible through the mesh at the third level of detail. On top of that, we fixed an issue where the skin did not dissolve away to reveal the skeleton upon the death of the Overseers at levels two and three.

On closer inspection, it was discovered that various enemies, effects, and skills were using the incorrect colour tinting.

It was occasionally necessary to re-run the opening animations after passing through a portal, which was a rare but annoying issue that needed to be addressed.

There was a visual issue with the ambient lava splash visual effects on some platforms, which was resolved. We were able to resolve the situation.

The issue where certain assets in lower detail settings appeared to be distorted has been resolved, according to the developer.

The problem with the exploding cow appearing to be unexploded has been corrected.
An issue with the water plane animations in some well shrines that caused them to extend through the walls of the wells was discovered.
The problem with players being able to partially fall into the floor or float above the ground in certain areas has been resolved. The problem with secret objects being incorrectly highlighted in certain locations has been resolved.
Fixed a problem where some assets would disappear incorrectly while still visible on the screen, which had been reported previously.
Some assets with distorted geometry at lower detail levels have been fixed, as have some other issues.

A problem with ground planes in Act 4 that caused them to extend beyond their defined boundaries in some cases has been resolved.
Fixed visual artifacts in fog, which may be present in Act 3 but are not guaranteed.
The intensity of the red light emanating from the Throne of Destruction has been increased.
It has been possible to resolve various texture issues and graphical bugs.
The Nintendo Switch has fixed a bug that caused a section of a rooftop in Monastery to be missing due to a glitch.
It was discovered that certain structures in Arreat Summit were rendered partially invisible as a result of a bug, and it was resolved as a result.

It was discovered that entering or exiting buildings in Act 3 could cause a significant change in lighting. This was corrected.

There was a bug in Worldstone Keep where multiple instances of the same pillar would render on top of each other. In Arreat Summit, Diablo 2 ladder runewords there was a bug where players could see a gaping hole in the map in the corner of the map. This was fixed in the next patch.

Some assets were missing as a result of a bug that has since been fixed.

ART | PARTICIPANTS | PARTICIPATION

The Necromancer's Dim Vision VFX could stretch when teleporting due to a bug that was previously present in the game. When continuously casting Inferno or Arctic Blast, an issue with animation stuttering could occur. This has been resolved.   Fixed a problem where the Necromancer's Dim Vision VFX would stretch when teleporting to another location.

When Flail weapons are equipped to a Druid, an issue with the weapon animations being delayed has been resolved. Fixed a problem with the Assassin's Phoenix Strike visual effects, which could cause them to remain on the screen for other players after the charges had been depleted. It has been resolved an issue with the Necromancer's Fire Golem death VFX, which appeared to be offset from the corpse's position.  It has been resolved an issue with the Necromancer's Fire Golem death VFX, which appeared to be offset from the corpse's position.  A problem with the Necroman has been resolved.

Poly-storming was being caused by a problem with the Wolf and Dire Wolf summoning visual effects. We were able to resolve the situation.

Flail weapons on the hands of Sorceress, Barbarian, Necromancer, and Assassins were not aligning between different animations when they were switched between them due to a bug in the animation system.

AUDIO RECORDINGS ARE AVAILABLE
When using a controller, there was a problem with the audio playing properly in the Options menu. This has been resolved.   Corrected a problem that prevented the audio from playing for auto-filling the belt when pressing R3 on a controller. When Diablo spawned in a game with a Classic character, there was an issue that caused voice lines to loop indefinitely. When switching between Legacy and Modern Modes, there was a glitch that resulted in the music being reset to the beginning.

FIXES FOR CRASHES AND GETTING VEHICLES UNDRIVEN

A crash that could have occurred if the Act 2 Mercenary used Jab while being transformed with the Delirium Rune Word has been resolved in the latest patch.

There are fixes for a number of different crashes.

Xbox is a type of video game console.

An issue where players could become stuck on the loading screen when creating a  through the party finder after saving and exiting a previous cheap Diablo 2 items with the same character has been addressed. When creating a game through the party finder, there was a rare issue where players could become stuck on the loading screen. This has been resolved.  

It has been updated to fix a crash that occurred when viewing the activity history of friends on the PlayStation 5.

It is possible that a crash will occur when saving and exiting from Harrogath. This has now been resolved.

There was a rare crash that occurred when trading with Drognan, but it was quickly resolved.
