①、Common name:Transport Medium

②、English name:Transport Medium

♠ Package specification.

The volume of reagent in each transport medium is 1mL/2mL/3mL/5mL.

♠ Intended use.

Used for the transfer and preservation of clinically collected samples.

For medical units to use for pathogenic bacteria testing for pre-treatment to obtain pathogenic bacteria specimens.

♠ Principle of testing.

Through the different formulations used in different models of transport medium, the viability of the corresponding microorganisms in the specimens can be improved and enhanced for the short-term preservation of the specimens in transport.

♠ Main composition.

The main components are formulated with sodium chloride, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, dipotassium hydrogen phosphate, agar, calcium chloride and other solvents.

♠ Specimen preservation.

Specimens should be delivered to the laboratory within 48 hours after collection at 2-8°C. If they cannot be delivered to the laboratory within 48 hours, they should be stored at -70°C or below.

♠ Storage conditions and expiration date.

Storage conditions.

①, the product should be stored in a clean, hygienic, dry and ventilated environment.

②, the temperature is 5℃~35℃.

③, relative humidity <85%RH.

④、Shelf life of the product: 12 months.

♠ Use method.

①、Before sampling, mark the relevant sample information on the label of the sampling tube.

②、Sample with the corresponding sampling swab.

③、After sampling, quickly put the swab into the sterile sampling tube, break the part above the sampling tube, and screw the cap tightly.

♠ Product performance indicators.

①、Transport medium is transparent/pink liquid/gel, no contamination or leakage.

②.The volume of reagent in each delivery medium is the labeled volume.

③, the pH of the delivery medium should meet the requirements of 7.0-8.4.

④、Blank control dishes should be sterile and the inoculated medium should grow well.

♠ Caution.

①、This product is only used for in vitro diagnosis.

②、After the collection of pathogenic bacteria specimens, the disposable sampling swab should be made to be completely inserted into the preservation solution to maximize the retention of pathogenic bacteria.

③, the collected specimens must be fresh and sent for testing in time to avoid the death of pathogenic bacteria.

④, the transport medium after specimen collection should be sterilized to prevent contamination.

Note: This transport medium is for in vitro diagnostic use and should not be used for internal or external use in humans or animals.

If swallowed it can lead to serious incidents; it is irritating to eyes and skin, if splashed into eyes accidentally flush with water. Ventilation should be maintained during use.
