Important Features of Using Blue Prism

Blue Prism is an RPA tool that enables a virtual workforce powered by software robots. This enables businesses to automate business operations in a more agile and cost-effective manner. The tool is written in Java and includes a visual designer with drag-and-drop functionality.

  • Founded in 2001, this tool differentiates itself from others in the market by using a top-down approach. Blue Prism provides a visual designer without recorders, scripts, or any other intervention.
  • This technology is used in a variety of industries, including healthcare, utilities, insurance, finance, the public sector, and consumer packaged goods.
  • Blue Prism makes data sharing simple and easy. It's encouraging to hear that Blue Prism has eliminated many outdated IT initiatives in business operations.
  • Blue Prism is a well-rounded technology for rapid business process automation.

Learning Robotics with Blue Prism

There are many RPA tools in the market, but Blue Prism has the highest market value because they invented this technology.

  • So, if you want to learn robotics, you must be familiar with Blue Prism RPA. With its many advantages, Blue Prism is often the first choice of businesses.
  • It aims to provide enterprise automation by providing a scalable, easily configurable, and centrally managed robotic workforce.
  • RPA Blue Prism provides more sophistication and evidence. So, if you want to learn robotics, look no further than Blue Prism.

Components of Blue Prism

I will introduce you to the various components/essentials of Blue Prism in this section of the RPA Blue Prism blog.

Blue Prism's four main components:

  • Process Diagram
  • Process Studio
  • Object Studio
  • Application Modeller

Process Diagram

Process diagrams are business workflows that function similarly to software programs.

  • Because Blue Prism is based on Java, these diagrams employ core programming concepts to create operational process flows in the manner of flow charts.
  • The diagrams are essentially graphical representations of workflows that are used to create, analyze, modify, and scale business capability.

Process Studio

Process Studio is where process diagrams are created. This Blue Prism component includes features like business logic, object calls, control loops, and variables. Each activity created has a master page that is executed first.

Object Studio

Almost all businesses require communication with external applications to automate tasks. Because it is not possible in Process Studio, Object Studio is used. Visual Business Objects (VBO) are created in Object Studio.

  • These objects are nothing more than diagrammatical programs that interact with external applications that carry out operations.
  • Only one business object interfaces with an external application. Also, each Object Studio doesn't have the main page, but instead two default pages organized into a flat group.

Application Modeller

Application Modeler is Object Studio's functionality for creating application models. This makes the target application's UI components available to the Blue Prism project.

Features of Blue Prism

Secure and Accurate - There is no limit to the number of processes that can be run in this tool. Blue Prism provides secure and accurate results for any number of processes you want to automate.

Robust - It has robust features such as load balancing, data encryption, and end-to-end auditing. As a result, every change is audited and linked back to the user.

Scalable and Resilient – It allows for scalability while maintaining central administration. As a result, all processes are automated and centrally monitored as needed.

Workforce - The tool is designed to work intelligently without requiring a person to physically monitor every action on the screen.

Analytics - Provides additional features for configuring Dashboards so that session information can be routed to Monitoring Systems.

Data Security and Data Abstraction - Because the tool is designed to work autonomously, all processing is performed and stored in a data center. This provides a clear data abstraction of data and process security.

Provide cloud support - Provides working capacity support as needed by the business. As a result, users must only create workers on demand and manage them centrally.

Execution Intelligence - Robots connect to systems and dynamically respond to data responses in various environments.
