Warpriest is your best armour in F2p but it is only obtainable by members... unless you participated in the event several months back which I doubt. It maxes out in tier 2 in f2p (had been nerfed by Jagex), therefore OSRS gold it's not really the best armor in most conditions. You can still find decent hybrid armor though, the ghost hunter armor (w/e it is called) is just as good and you can get it out of murdering ghosts.

I thought it maxed out at grade 50. Finest f2p hybrid armour like he said was dragonstone, that can be tier 60. The last time you could get warpriest was ancient 2014. I supposed tier two or three tiers or whatever, don't know the lingo, just an 07 player dropping by. Warpriest armour is dreadful F2P. It is grade 50 but the stats are poor to another tier 50'tank' armours due to being hybrid armour.

As for the topic's question as others have answered already Batwing is the very best Magic armour available to F2Pers, however you can better your weapon(s) if you're now using Batwing wand + book/shield. Gravite staff is significantly better and definitely worth getting in the event that you do not plan to become a member anytime soon. It is a Dungeoneering reward value 40K tokens, so it'll require getting 400K exp via normal training at the Dungeoneering skill.

Gloves and boots that you have limited choices. It's possible to use GWD hybrid pair gloves and boots (Arma, Zam, Sara and cheap RuneScape gold Bandos), they are hybrid count as three battle styles. They are not too good however , they provide Tier 50 Def stats due to being hybrid armour pieces. Was still completing my post and doing double post edits, but Leo posted and ruined it.
